20 Photos To Capture The Magic Of Rome, The Eternal City

I finally visited Rome for the first time, spending a week over Christmas exploring the Eternal City. This was only my second trip to Italy—I’ve only ever been to Venice before! Rome was stunning: it was everything I wanted it to be and more! There was so much history everywhere you looked. These places had been around for literally thousands of years and it was incredible! I thought I would be overwhelmed by how much there is to see and do. But the real beauty is just walking around and exploring this fascinating city. Here’s a short photoessay to share the magic of Rome.
